Better Research, Better Education, and Better Practice:
Three Keys to Better Nursing Care for Elders.

The initiative, which has additional funding partners in The Atlantic Philanthropies and the Mayday Fund, has four main components (represented in the graphic above), with the Coordinating Center serving a central role in its operations:

• Faculty development (Predoctoral Scholarships and Claire M. Fagin Fellowships)
• Leadership development
  
• Collaboration (e.g., Hartford Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence, HGNI)
• Dissemination (e.g., Community of Experts, Regional Networks, Publications)
