2013 Program Agenda

The 13th NHCGNE Leadership Conference begins Monday, November 18th. The meeting is being held at the New Orleans Marriot Hotel, one of the venues for this year’s GSA meeting.

• All new 2013 Scholars, Fellows, and their Mentors are to attend an Orientation Program which begins at 8:00 am on Monday, November 18th.
• The Leadership Conference officially opens at 11:00 am on Monday, November 18th and ends at noon on Wednesday, November 20th

The theme of this year’s program is Leading Self, Others and Change. The program is concerned with the development of self-awareness, developing others, managing effective teams, being innovative, and exerting healthcare leadership in and through professional organizations.

Leadership Conference Registration
The 2012 and 2013 cohort and their mentors as well as the Hartford Center Directors and Administrators do not need to pay or register for the Leadership Conference. Alumni of our programs and other invited paying guests will need to register and can do that by going to online registration at the GSA website where the NHCGNE Leadership Conference is listed as a function. You do not need to attend the GSA meeting in order to sign up for the Leadership Conference. If you have already registered for GSA, you can add the Leadership Conference by editing your registration.

GSA Meeting Registration
All 2012 and 2013 Scholars and Fellows are required to attend the full Gerontological Society of America’s (GSA) Annual Scientific Meeting which immediately follows the Leadership Conference and must separately register for it
