MembershipThe National Hartford Centers of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (NHCGNE) is a collaboration between the Coordinating Center and independently funded centers housed at schools of nursing across the nation that have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to the field of gerontological nursing. Our vision is optimal health for all older adults. The mission of NHCGNE is to enhance and sustain the capacity and competency of nurses to provide quality care to older adults through faculty development, advancing gerontological nursing science, facilitating adoption of best practices, foster leadership, and designing and shaping policy. Members of the NHCGNE will be key actors in fulfilling this mission and will receive benefits from membership that will better situate them to do so. |
